The police diving panel is a portable control box for the use with surface diving operations which incorporates the divers air supply, communications to both divers, diver depth and decompression monitoring. The panel will support two divers from four HP supplies.
The panel incorporates: Digital depth gauge, twin HP to LP regulators, diver emergency HP cross over valve, digital dive timer and quick connection points for diver pneumo calibrations. The panel is built into a plastic case with "O" ring seal with extra reinforcement around the corner with stainless steel latches and fittings.
The panel is designed to measure divers depth by supplying air pressure to the divers pneumo system. The gauges incorporated with this system are two stainless steel 6" 0/230 FSW/70M 1% accurate gauges (1/4% or .25% accurate gauges can be supplied as an optional extra). Each diver monitoring system can be operated independently with relief valve over pressurisation valves fitted to the pneumo system. The system also incorporates a 2 1/2" dia. digital depth gauge for checking each diver with .25% accuracy. This gauge is battery powered and can be used for each diver or both divers monitoring.
The pneumo system is also fitted with two independent quick connects for calibration and checking of the accuracy of the diver depth monitoring system. A three-way digital timer is incorporated in the pneumo section of the panel to time the divers decompression.
Communications The divers air radio is the Serial No: EXRT.S0001 designed for communications between the surface supervisor and one, two or both divers. The system is based on a two wire operating system that is based on normally receiving messages from the divers only when the surface operator transmits via the receiver speaker. The surface operator can wear the headset and microphone when the system is operated in a noisy environment.
A 12-volt DC battery powers the communication system, however a mains power supply module with internal batteries can be provided as an optional extra. There is an extra facility on the radio for connecting a monitoring tape recorder. A headset and microphone are provided along with an extension speaker.
Digital Timer A three-way digital timer is incorporated in the pneumo section of the panel to time the divers decompression. The timer features three independent countdown timer channels, a one minute alarm when timer counts down to zero, a memory recall of the pressure time settings, a large LCD display for hours, minutes and seconds with clip attachment for attachment to the panel.
HP System The HP system consists of four independent HP inlets, each pair of inlets are twinned with independent isolation valves and non-return valves to the HP/LP regulators.
Each inlet has a maximum WP of 5000psi with an emergency HP cross over valve. The HP side to each diver is fitted with a stainless steel liquid filled HP gauge 0-6000 psi/410 bar. The hi-flow HP to LP regulator is a piston type hand loaded regulator with balance poppet design for increased efficiency. The regulator is fitted with an internal filtration cartridge for ease of field servicing.
LP System The LP system is fitted with non-return valves. The LP system is fitted with over pressurisation valve, two stainless steel liquid filled gauges 0-4000psi/30 bar gauges with independent diver isolation supplies.
Standard Connections are as follows:
Inlets:
- HP 1/4" NPT Female
- LP 3/8" NPT Female
Outlets:
- Divers Supply 3/8" NPT Female
- Divers Pneumo 1/4" NPT Female
Other connections are available but subject to separate quotation.
